Our proposal for a Starting Grant from the European Research Council was selected for funding! In the project “MitoRNA”, we will explore the mechanisms underlying the RNA life cycle in human mitochondria. Read more in the press release by the UMG (German) or the MPI-NAT (English).
Ana Vučković started her PhD in our group! She is a student from the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) Molecular Biology and previously did her Master thesis work in our lab. We are very happy and excited that you decided to stay in the team!

Bernhard Kuhle joined our lab as a postdoctoral researcher. He did his PhD in Göttingen and then moved to the Scripps Institute in La Jolla, where he worked on mitochondrial tRNA synthesases. Welcome Bernhard, we are excited to have you!
